Having Open Minded Experiences in the Library or H.O.M.E was a program developed by Vassar College Libraries with the aim of introducing students to academic research. I was asked to develop a logo a set of icons and print materials for H.O.M.E by the Library. The logo incorporates warm, homey, and inviting colors as well as a book —connecting it back to the library and the concept that research can be accessible and fun. I made the icons playful and accessible visual representations of the research concepts they presented. The icons and logo went on to be used in various print materials that were distributed throughout the library.
