As a part of a campus wide project rediscovering and reinterpreting the history of Vassar College I designed an exhibition titled The Educated Woman at the campus Main Library. The exhibition featured comics from two Vassar College alumna, Jean Anderson and Anne Cleveland, about life at the college in the 1930s, 40s, and 50s.
The design direction was influenced by the pair's second book together, Vassar: A Second Glance and their final book and namesake of the exhibition, The Educated Woman. Inspired by the stylish ink drawings of the comics, I stuck with the black and mustard yellow combination found on the front cover of Everything Correlates and the title styling of The Educated Woman.
